Lake Compounce

We went to Lake Compounce. It located in Connecticut. We left at 8:45 from the school. It take 45 minutes when they said we would leave at 8:00. The trip was I think 3 hours. I just talked and laughed we everyone. The trip was crazy and I was sick because of all the moving. We watched Harry Potter on are way to the park. The bus ride was so long. I felt very sick on the bus. I didn't like when I go on a car or bus because of the moving.

Once we arrived we chose our group and got our tickets. I was stocked at the park. I ha Sekouba, Alex, Jonas, Victor, Thalia ,Joshua, Ada, Grii, Linda ,saikou,and Mr.Osia. I was with Mr.Osia.I went on the Downtime first.I went with Sekouba, Ada, Linda, Jonas, Saikou.I went also on the wildcat.My favorite ride was the down time. I like the thrill of the ride. I disliked the Wildcat. I disliked the jumping of the car. I hit someone in the head. Only one because he was scared. The only ride was the wildcat. I eat a cheese burger and some French Fries. I liked it very much.

The last ride was the Wildcat.I see people dancing. I hated the bus ride going back to school. We saw Batman Return.I liked the rides.I would go back to ride the other rides. I hope to go back next year.

Angela's Ashes

Poverty affects the character in Angela's Ashes because they have no money and nothing to live with. I think the babies kept on getting sick because they had no food. If I were a parent I would get a job and to everything I could for my children. The thing the mother did wrong in the story was she didn't feed her children and care for them more,she also married a bad man.The father had no job and nothing for the children.

I think they live under these conditions because of they're parents. The thing that can help this family is money and a better life. Yes and it makes me really sad.Yes it much worse they're then in America.

In America people would think that everyone has money but things are much different and some people live much different. For the father to find a job and help out his family.

I-Movie

I really enjoyed working with my group and creating an I-movie. My group was crazy and we had to come and put together many different ways to do things together.The best part of working with a group was coming together and creating our great movie.The most difficult part of creating the I-movie was playing with the music and the talking on the video. I think my group at the beginning we fight but in the end the movie was wonderful. The advice I would give us is to never fight and work together with everyone.

What did we learn form Career Day?

The first presenter I saw was Alba Mota. She works as a social worker and community actives. She told us that been a social worker can be a very important job because social workers help people with problems and issues in they're life. Another thing that she told us was that she solves problems in peoples life like when someone it been hit , and take them out of that place. One of the together I liked about her was she also works as a community actives. When someone has a right to do something but is not allowed for some reason. She goes and helps them have they're right. I really enjoyed her presenting and understand why she chose that job.

The second presenter I saw was Adrienne Austin. She works as a lawyer. She told us that been a lawyer can help out many people. And she works with many cases and people. One thing that she told us was that had 2000 cases. I really enjoyed her presenting another thing I liked was she asked us questions. I hope she comes again next year for career day.

Career Day: Reflaction

Career Day was wonderful we learned many new things about other peoples career. Career day beginning with us having the honor roll luncheon 5Th period at the library. We meet the presenters and talked with them and learned about they're careers.I enjoyed talking and learning about different areas of careers. Also, I liked that we had to dress up and come to school with out uniform. The only career I was interested was becoming a television production for the Food Network. I didn't see the television production but I have always wanted to work for the Food Network. Everyday I see the Food Network and I never get hungry. The careers I want to learn about next year are a firefighter, chef, and police officer.

I - Movie

I really liked using I-Movie and creating the I-Movie for the book monster. I-Movie helps you create your very own small movie. Working with my group and making my movie. They laughed and thought it was really funny. The feedback they give us was that it was really funny and the said it was the second best video. The changes I need to make with my group are the wording, pictures, and my group answering the questions.

I feel that the other videos were great and they worked very hard to make they're I-movie the best that they can.I think my video was good but not the best because we all worked very hard. The groups video that I enjoyed the most was the first group from 702 , because they used good actors and lots of acting. I would tell them to make believe they are a big movie Creator and they are creating they own movies. No, because you need to explain to them what you are talking about before starting.

The things may group need to work on are explain to the people watching the video and we need to talk more.

Why do I have to think about a Career now?

I am thinking about careers right now to have a chance to know about different careers and to have a life goal to reach. Its important for me to have a life goal because it allows me to reach them. Everyone has a dream to do something in life. The project is going to help me reach my goal by teaching me about different careers and to help me chose a career in what ever I chose. I started thinking about my future a long time ago because you should always have a life goal and a career path.
